Michelle Lynn Monaghan (born March 23 1976) is an American actress. Her most well-known work includes her role as the lead in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005), Gone Baby Gone (2007), Made of Honor (2008), Eagle Eye (2008), Trucker (2008), Source Code (2011), Pixels (2015), and Patriots Day (2016). Her character was Julia Meade, the main character in Mission: Impossible's action-spy series Mission: Impossible (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011), Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018), has been recognized. Monaghan also starred in True Detective's first season (2014) in the first season of True Detective as Maggie Hart. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award, Best Supporting Actress. She was also Sarah Lane on the drama series The Path (2016-18). Monaghan starred as Eva Geller in the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah and the show was cancelled after one season.
