Renee Kathleen Zellweger
Renee Kathleen Zellweger, was born in
Katy, Texas on April 25 in 1969. Her mother, Kjellfrid (Andreassen) is a former
nurse and midwife from Norway, Kven (Finnish), in addition to being of Swedish
as well as Norwegian descent. Emil Erich Zellweger, her father, is a Swiss
engineer. They got married in 1963. Drew Zellweger was Renee's older brother.
He is an executive in marketing and was born on 15 February 1967. As a member
of the drama club, Renee became interested in acting. In Austin she also took an
acting class and began to consider acting as a career. She was determined to
pursue acting after graduating. However, Hollywood can be difficult to make it
into which is why Renee decided to stay in Texas and try out for roles in
Houston. In Houston, she found roles in films like Reality Bites (1994), and
Empire Records (1995). Matthew McConaughey (another Hollywood rising star) was
her pal while she was on set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre II: The Next Generation
(1994). Renee observed him working on a project , and she auditioned. She was
offered the role in Love , and an offer of a 45 (1994). The role was a huge
success and was a huge success and earned her the respect of many that she
moved to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough came from another film role in The Whole
Wide World (1996). Cameron Crowe was busy with casting Jerry Maguire (1996)
starring Tom Cruise. Crowe was thinking about actors like Bridget Fonda (Camden
Diaz), Winona Ryder (Winona Ryder), and Marisa Tomei, when he came across
Zellweger's performance at The Whole Wide World (1996). He had a chance to
audition Zellweger and was convinced he'd discovered the perfect Dorothy Boyd.
Renee was able to follow her massive success with a handful of small
independent films. After receiving further critical praise, she felt confident
enough to return to the world of big-budget Hollywood films. She played
opposite Meryl Streep in the tear-jerker One True Thing (1998). She was also in
Me, Myself & Irene (2000) in a role opposite Jim Carrey and shortly
after, began dating Carrey. She played the title role in Bridget Jones's Diary
(2001).
